Answer:  Absolutely!  Not only are there members that closely track the upcoming legislative proposals that may affect retirees benefits but also those that may affect active Federal workers earned pay increases and future retirement and insurance benefits.

Question: Can I join your Chapter even though I do not live in the area?

Answer: Yes.  As long as you are an active or retired Federal employee.
