The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association, St. Mary’s Chapter 0969 is here to help keep you informed on upcoming Federal and State legislation and changes that may affect your earned pay, annuity, rights and benefits.  We assist members with questions relating to retirement, FEGLI, FEHB, Social Security, Medicare, TSP and help with getting you in touch with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).   All Federal workers and retirees are welcome and it would be a pleasure to have you join our chapter at the next monthly meeting which meets in Leonardtown, MD.   Detailed meeting information.

Not a member?  Here is why you should join.  In addition to the remarkable work done by NARFE National listed in this brochure,  this Chapter provides Federal workers and annuitants more localized relevant information relating to State and local legislation that may affect you.  We invite speakers to the monthly meetings to provide valuable information specific to this area and acts as your personnel office after you retire.  To join our chapter, contact Geneva Leon for membership details or contact NARFE National and specify Chapter 0969 in the application.

 Angela Cochran and Tammy Loewe from the St. Mary’s County Health Department will be providing information on school based health centers and what they have to offer and information on upcoming events.  We will have elections for the following officer positions:  President, Treasurer and Federal Legislative Officer.
