The annual Christmas Party was held at the Olde Breton Inn in Leonardtown, MD, on December 15, 2023. Entertainment by Bruce Thomas provided a festive and fun opportunity for singing-along and dancing. The buffet lunch consisted of stuffed ham, turkey with all the trimmings, and fried oysters.
In attendance, in addition to Chapter 0969 members, was the MD Federation President, Dr. Gary Roundtree and his guest. Members received gift baskets or gift cards from local businesses, and there was a 50/50 raffle, and our monthly lottery. Winners of the quilt raffle, the scratch-offs and Alzheimer stamp basket were announced. Santa (Sam Jones) and his helper (Jackie Childers) were available during the party for photos with the members.
