What is NARFE’s advocacy network?
Congressional District Leaders (CDLs) and Senatorial Leaders (SLs) are key volunteer advocates within NARFE’s grassroots legislative network. They serve as the primary liaisons between NARFE members and their elected officials in Congress.
Two key volunteer roles in that network are:
Congressional District Leader (CDL): focus on NARFE’s relationship with House members
Senatorial Leader (SL): focus on Senators
These roles serve as NARFE’s “on the ground” advocacy links in their local/federal legislative districts, both ensuring that NARFE’s voice is heard in Congress through local engagement, communication, and legislative follow-up. Reach out to your local representative today.
