Chapter 1734 meets the third Wednesday of January, March, May, September, and October at the East Columbia 50+ Center, located at 6610 Cradlerock Way in Columbia, MD at 1:00 pm unless otherwise announced. Our luncheons are customarily held on the third Wednesday of February, June, November, and December. Locations and other details will be announced here and by email.

The Honorable Byron Macfarlane, the Howard County Register of Wills has agreed to speak to NARFE Chapter 1734 on wills and estates. We will be meeting at 1:00 pm in the East Columbia 50+ Center, located at 6610 Cradlerock Way in Columbia, MD.

Previous Meetings

Chapter 1734 hosts an annual FEHB Open Season lunch inviting representatives to speak to members about their products and take questions. In addition, we invite diverse speakers with expertise in topics of interest to NARFE members.

In the past, we have welcomed local and federal elected officials, NARFE Maryland Federation leaders, a local author/journalist, Howard County employees to address cybersecurity and home safety issues and resources at the 50+ Centers, as well as estate planning. More importantly, we welcome your input. Please contact us to suggest a program topic or speaker.
