New Performance Management System

OPM logoThe Office of Personnel Management released a memo announcing the implementation of new performance management standards for federal employees. In its memo, OPM told agencies they don’t have to use “progressive discipline” and shouldn’t substitute a suspension when a full removal of an employee from their job “would be appropriate.”
