Meetings

 

Chapter 0289 Lansing meetings are normally held the first Thursday of each month at 1pm at the Tri-County Office on Aging, 5303 South Cedar St. (Use Door under 1), Lansing. Chapter 289 will hold hybrid meetings on special occasions and during bad weather zoom connections will again be used for meetings.

We have some interesting programs coming up in the next months.  Be sure to put on your calendar so you will remember what is coming.

May 7th – Program speaker will be Heather Lehman, Community Programs Specialist for the Michigan History Center. She will be speaking about the 12 museums and historic sites all over our state. Michigan history is all around us- come and learn about the museum collections, things to do, places to explore, and volunteer opportunities. If you have some time this summer and no particular plans, come and listen – you might just find your next road trip.

June 4th – No guest speaker. Chapter attendees to the Michigan Federation Conference will be making reports to keep all our members up to date with latest information from the conference.

July 2nd – The plan is to again hold our Chapter picnic at the Zerkle home. Watch for further information here.
