Meetings

Chapter 0289 Lansing meetings are normally held the first Thursday of each month at 1pm at the Tri-County Office on Aging, 5303 South Cedar St. (Use Door under 1), Lansing. Chapter 289 will hold hybrid meetings on special occasions and during bad weather zoom connections will again be used for meetings.

We have some interesting programs coming up in the next months.  Be sure to put on your calendar so you will remember what is coming.

June 4th – No guest speaker. Chapter attendees to the Michigan Federation Conference will be making reports to keep all our members up to date with latest information from the conference.

July 2nd – The plan is to again hold our Chapter picnic at the Zerkle home. Watch for further information here.

August 6th – our speaker will be Tania Matz of LPL Financial in Okemos, Michigan to discuss cryptocurrency and bitcoin. What is it? Should you put your savings into it? Who regulates it? Is it regulated? This is a very current topic and the more we learn about it, the better we can make decisions concerning it.
