CAB techniques for “ZIP Code Repair” were recently implemented by the TN Federation. The method pioneered by the CAB in 2023 uses color-coded maps by Randy Majors to examine and propose changes to the ZIP Codes assigned to NARFE chapters within a federation. Mike Mellish and TN Federation President Linda Heaton proposed changes to the LSA for Tennessee, and maps and databases used are available for NARFE members to view on the CAB Project page for LSA-ZIP Code Repair.
Microsites Video Playlists
Microsite trainees from 2024 and 2025 (Group02-Group06) may notice that playlists on the CAB YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@narfecab) for the microsite training videos have been re-titled. The playlists of videos created in February and March of 2024 have now been identified as “Microsites 2024” and “Microsite Training 2024”. This is in preparation for the new updated training for Group07 that begins September 05, 2025.

Recognize Distinguished Members!
A distinguished member (DM) of NARFE is one who has twenty or more years of membership. A new tutorial, written by Dorothy Creswell on how to Submit a Distinguished Membership Nominee Form, has been added to the CAB Tutorials FAQs page. It’s easy to identify these members using the Chapter or Federation member lists, and its just as easy to submit the Distinguished Membership Nominee F-128 Form. Let’s HONOR our Distinguished Members!
FAQs for FEDHub!
A new section has been added to the FEDHub Tutorials page – a Frequently Asked Questions section, or FAQs for FEDHub! This page will serve NARFE members who are new to FEDHub, or don’t use it very often, or those who have questions they can’t find answered anywhere else. If you have a question about FEDHub you want answered, use the Contact Webmaster form at the bottom of any page.
