The CAB Important Links page lists three new documents – the 2/10/25 CAB Requests, the 2/07/25 Backlog Issues, and the 1/13/25 Tasks. These documents are updated on a monthly basis, and reflect the activities of the NARFE Configuration Advisory Board, which meets once a month on the second Monday. The CAB Meeting Summaries page has updated meeting notes from January 13, 2025. NARFE members are urged to keep up to date with the latest technology information from NARFE by reviewing these pages monthly.

Chapter vs Federation Communities
Important distinctions exist between FEDHub chapter and federation communities, and these differences are especially important to explain the difference between sending and receiving emails from a chapter or a federation. Chapter emails go to everyone IN the chapter, and no one else. Federation emails go to everyone in the federation community, which may not include everyone in the federation, and may include others who belong to other federations.

WEP/GPO REPEALED!
The Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO) have finally been REPEALED! Thanks to NARFE, our advocacy department, our members and the outpouring of legislative support that united to finally remove this burden from the backs of federal annuitants and employees. A forty year fight has been won. Let us celebrate together.
