Where can I find out about the California Federation Convention?
The California Federation is in the process of planning for the 2027 Convention in the Monterey region of California. To get an idea of what it might be like, check out the 2025 Convention information. The CA Federation microsite (https://www.narfe.org/ca/) has an entire page dedicated to the CA Federation Convention 2025. Who are your appointed officers?
The District Officers have all been appointed – based on their willingness to volunteer for the position! We appreciate the work they do. They are listed on the “Chapters” tab under their respective district. Please write them to keep them informed of any needs you may have.
Where do I find the list of Congressional District Liaisons for the CA federation?
The list of 40+ CDLs (Congressional District Liaisons) for California can be found on the “About Us” page, which contains a password-protected list all of the CDLs and their respective district.
Region VIII Information
Who is the Regional Vice President and where does he live?
Region VIII Vice President is John Almquist, and he lives in California. As Region VIII RVP he represents California, Nevada, Hawaii, and the Philippines. Guam was once part of this Region, but was de-certified. Does anyone know why? If so, let us know! Contact the webmaster using the form in the footer of every page.

Who are your regional appointed representatives?
- Martha Raup is the Region VIII representative on the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB), as well as the Chair. She is also the 1st VP of Chapter 0065 San Francisco. CAB Meeting Summaries are posted on the CAB microsite.
- Yvonne Williams is the Alzheimers Coordinator for Region VIII. She is a member of Chapter 1330 Central Coast. Alzheimer Reports are posted on the CA Federation microsite on the Documents page.
- The FEEA Coordinator position is vacant.
