Appeal Rights for Federal Employees
NARFE member Anthony Cardillo, former Chief of the Dallas Field Office, U.S. Office of Special Counsel, Dallas, TX, offers this advice for those federal employees who believe they have been wrongfully terminated or removed:
- If you were a probationary federal employee, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC).
- If you were a career federal employee, you may be able to file an appeal with the US Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).
