National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) recently announced the addition of an updated Bill Tracker that is available for both members and the public. The NARFE Bill Tracker is organized by topics, and each can be expanded to reveal a list of current issues NARFE supports, and their status. New Federation Officers Elected
NARFE CA Federation members elected new officers for the California Federation at the recent Federation Convention 2025 in Reno NV. Conventions are held every two years, and every member of NARFE who resides in the state of California or is a member of a chapter that is part of the CA Federation is entitled to vote. Congratulations to all officers!
Donations Collected at the Convention
Every convention is an opportunity to collect donations from members for the causes we support. The CA Federation Convention 2025 is no exception! $262 was donated for Alzheimer’s and $525 was donated for NARFE PAC, the political action committee that operates separately to support NARFE issues.
Federal Executive Boards
Federal Executive Boards have been demolished, but they once served important functions, helping coordinate the activities of federal agencies. Sadly, these professionals were summarily dismissed in March of 2025, and the services they offer the federal workforce abandoned. Bay Area Rallies for FEDS!
NARFE is sponsoring a rally on March 15, 2025 from 11-12:30 at 1 pm in San Francisco to support federal employees and protect the enormity of the assault against the federal workforce. Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm NARFE will rally with Bay Area residents at Harry Bridges Plaza (across from the Ferry Building) to Save the USPS!! California is ready to stand up. Are you?
