NARFE NY Federation Annual Conference
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026 we will hold our Annual NY Federation Conference in Albany, NY.
This will be a statewide conference to provide valuable training and information for both active and retired federal employees who are members of NARFE, so if you are not already a NARFE member, join today!
At the conference, we will learn about the latest emerging threats to the federal community, reductions in force, proposed cuts to earned federal benefits, and the information and resources we need to help us make informed decisions. We will connect with other feds, refine our skills and knowledge, and become inspired by innovative concepts that will help us network and grow as individuals and grow our chapters.
We will hear from federal benefits experts, leadership from NARFE National Headquarters, Congressional staff, and others – all discussing issues affecting our federal community. This conference will provide all officers and members, both National-only and Chapter members, with updated information and the current state of Congress regarding our earned benefits. During this event, we will hold our NY Federation Annual Meeting and Election of Officers to the Board of the NY Federation.
The conference and accommodations will be in a new location this year: the elegant Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel, 660 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12211. There is on-site parking, an indoor pool, fitness center, and restaurant and lounge.
The conference will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Refreshments will be served during a break at 10:00 am and lunch will be served at noon, both paid for by the NY Federation.
The Federation will be responsible for a one-night stay at the hotel for those traveling more than 60 miles each way to the meeting. Due to fiscal restraints, dinner will not be provided by the Federation the evening before the conference. Participants are encouraged to gather in the hotel restaurant at their own expense. Also, those that have a need to remain at the hotel for more than one night should provide a relevant need
(such as a long-distance trip back home of more than 200 miles) after the whole day meeting.
Deadline to register: NARFE NY Federation members must register for the conference by April 14, 2026. Please complete and return the Conference Registration Form by April 14, 2026.

The hotel does not provide breakfast for guests, but there is a restaurant onsite.
