NARFE Tri-City Chapter SF Bay Cruise on the USS Potomac – Thursday, 08/20/2026 – Register Now!

Thursday August 20 has been selected as the date to Cruise the Bay on the USS Potomac.  If you wish to participate in this excursion, please use the link below to register by Tuesday June 30.  Trip details will be finalized after that, and those registered will be contacted for payment.  You are welcome to bring guests (please indicate total number next to your name).

The USS Potomac is docked at Jack London Square near the Ferry Landing.  The 2-hour cruise begins at 12:30pm but we are to arrive by 11:45am for check-in and a short program in the Visitor Center.  The cost is $74.24 per adult but we may qualify for an $8 discount depending on our group size.  Coffee, tea and water are complimentary on board and light snacks and soft drinks are available for purchase.  Lunch is not included (only on 3-hour cruises).

Accessibility: The Presidential Yacht USS Potomac is a historically preserved vessel. As such, it does not fully comply with the facility access standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ship allows limited access for the mobility impaired. Wheelchairs are limited to the main deck only. Restrooms onboard the ship are not accessible as the maximum wheelchair width (outside of wheel to outside of wheel) is 25 inches. Accessible restrooms are available in the Port of Oakland Buildings next to the Potomac. USS Potomac docents and crew are not allowed to provide physical assistance to mobility impaired individuals; including lifting occupied wheelchairs over obstacles.
