NARFE
has a wealth of information for topics dealing with federal employees and retirees. This includes:

NARFE advocacy initiatives;
the NARFE PAC;
an Education hub with information on a wide variety of things helpful to you, like how the TSP works, estate planning, retirement  issues, and more.

Helpful OPM sites for employment and retirement planning
For help with OPM questions go to OPM Home.
The CSRS/FERS Employee handbook contains the CSRS and FERS Handbook that OPM Personnel and Payroll Offices use to advise Federal agencies about various aspects of administering benefits.

The Alzheimer’s Association, The RI Elder Services organization, OASIS senior advisors, Local senior centers for Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth, the local AARP chapter.

Family services
The list of local services useful to families with children includes:
The Child And Family Organization, the RI Dept of Child, Youth and Families, the local Boys and Girls Club, the local YMCA, the public school departments for NewportMiddletown, and Portsmouth.
