Legislative Advocacy January 15, 2025
Chapter 0065 meeting on January 15, 2025 will be a discussion on Legislative Advocacy: It’s Importance and How to do it. R.J. Thacker, Manager, Political and Legislative Affairs for NARFE, will discuss the ways we can make our voices heard in Washington and across the country. Since NARFE’s founding in 1921, it’s mission has been to defend and advance the earned pay and benefits of America’s civil servants.

Joyce Okazaki will share her memories of Manzanar Camp on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1 pm via Zoom. Though she and her family were American citizens, the US Government questioned the loyalty of Japanese Americans and many, including her family, were incarcerated at Manzanar.
