2025 Health Benefits Fair
Open Season Health Benefits Fair is scheduled for November 5th, 2025 from 9:30am to 12 noon Pacific time. It will be held in the Nancy Pelosi Federal Building at 90 7th Street. NARFE Chapter 0065 will have a table at the fair and we invite all members to stop by and say hello. This event will serve as our November meeting. However, if the current government shutdown continues past November 5th, the event may be moved to another day and time. Changes will be posted on our website and those with an email will be notified electronically. You can also contact President Jerry Hall for any updates.

Issues affecting Federal Workers and Federal Retirees will be discussed and participants will be allowed to bring their issues and concerns to the Congressman’s Office during the meeting.

Joyce Okazaki will share her memories of Manzanar Camp on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1 pm via Zoom. Though she and her family were American citizens, the US Government questioned the loyalty of Japanese Americans and many, including her family, were incarcerated at Manzanar.
