WSF Vice-President Elect Honored
Kathy Brooks has been selected for the 2024 Mandy Goetze Award.
Mandy Goetze founded the The Alliance For Women (TIAW) organization 42 years ago in Washington, D.C. The Mandy Goetze award is given to the person who represents the goals/intentions of TIAW. Kathy has been a member since 2018, and a board member since 2019. TIAW’s goal is to economically empower women around the world.
Kathy joined NARFE Chapter 32 (Spokane) in 2011. She retired after serving as USPS Spokane District Manager of Operations Program Support. She has served as NARFE Chapter President, Vice President & coordinated the writing of Chapter 32’s newsletter as well as developing the Chapter website. In January 2025 she will begin her term as NARFE Washington State Federation (WSF) Vice President.
