The final Region IX Conference Planning Committee is scheduled for October 4th beginning at 10 a.m. It’s not too late to make your hotel reservations and send in your check to register. WA Federation will reimburse members for part of their registration fees. contact your federatoin officers for more information.

Save the date – October 24 through 26, 2024 in Tri-Cities! The theme is Highlighting NARFE’s PPP&B (Protecting and Preserving Federal Pay and Benefits!)

On October 24, three of the five federations will hold annual meetings at this event. There will be a special evening Pre-Open Season Health Fair for members of the postal community in that area who will decide on whether to keep their current carrier or join the new Postal Health Care Plan that begins in January 2025.

October 25-26 will have NARFE HQ speakers providing updates, especially advocacy news updates, and other opportunities to learn specifics of NARFE systems (AMS, FEDHub,  NARFE-hosted microsites. If there is a topic you want demonstrated or discussed, contact Cray Henry to add it to the agenda.

Region IX includes Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Region IX Vice-president is Steve Roy.
