David Stephens

Dave Stephens is a dedicated volunteer leader and advocate for the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Through his work with the Alzheimer’s Association, he helps raise awareness, support caregivers and families affected by dementia, and promote community engagement in programs and fundraising efforts such as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. His commitment reflects a deep passion for supporting those impacted by Alzheimer’s and advancing the search for treatments and a cure.

David discusses his work as an Alzheimer’s awareness advocate, inspired by his father, who suffered from the disease, and how his life changed when he received his own diagnosis.

David is a former Guinness World Record holder for continuous battling ropes; his record was bested by a Canadian man in 2024. David plans to reclaim his record once he is cleared by doctors.
