The Virginia Federation of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) proudly welcomes members, guests, and partners to our 71st Annual Conference. This gathering brings together leaders and members from across the Commonwealth to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our shared commitment to advocacy, service, and community. We proudly announce our 71st Annual Conference, returning in 2026 to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and the welcoming city of Harrisonburg, Virginia. This signature event brings together members, leaders, advocates, and partners from across the Commonwealth to learn, collaborate, and shape NARFE’s future in Virginia.
This year’s conference provides opportunities for education, leadership development, and meaningful connections. Through workshops, presentations, and discussions, attendees will gain valuable insights into legislative advocacy, membership growth, retirement and healthcare issues, and organizational leadership—all designed to support strong chapters and an engaged membership.
As we meet in 2026, we also celebrate two important milestones: the 71st anniversary of the Virginia Federation of NARFE and the 250th anniversary of our nation. These anniversaries remind us of the enduring value of public service and the importance of ensuring that the voices of federal employees and retirees continue to be heard and respected.
NARFE’s mission remains vital today. Through advocacy at both the state and national levels, member education, and outreach within our communities, we work together to protect earned benefits and promote the well-being of current and retired federal employees and their families.
