Lissa Greenlee
Lissa A. Greenlee serves as Executive Director for the Virginia chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association, including the Greater Richmond and Central & Western Virginia regions. With more than 18 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, she oversees programs that provide education, caregiver support, advocacy, and fundraising efforts to advance research and improve care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association in 2021, Greenlee held leadership roles at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she helped develop strategies to increase volunteer engagement and expand the organization’s impact.
Lissa is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in overseeing and directing operations and planning for a non-profit organization. She fosters a culture of success and celebration that drives both revenue and employee retention. Expertise in all aspects of event-based fundraising programs: planning, budgeting, forecasting, sales and marketing, recruitment, volunteer and committee development, hiring staff, training, management, and corporate partnership development. Team player skilled at motivating and inspiring staff and volunteers to exceed goals and build strong relationships through networking with individuals and organizations. Strong focus and passion for staff development through coaching and training. Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy, and results-based environments.
She will give a 15-minute research presentation, followed by Dave Stephens story. You will have the opportunity to hear about the latest research advancements, followed by Dave’s personal experience as someone currently on one of the treatments.
