Session Overview: We’ll examine the connection between exercise, nutrition, and stress management, including how a balanced diet and an effective exercise routine can improve mood and reduce stress levels. Attendees will receive practical, evidence-based examples of stress-relieving foods, activities, and strategies to support overall well-being. We will close the session with a short, guided stretching exercise you can follow along with to recharge for the rest of your day!

Doug Hudgins is a Wellness Nurse Consultant with BlueCross BlueShield, supporting the health and well-being of federal employees through education and wellness programs. Prior to his role at BCBS, Doug worked as a nurse with Virginia Cancer Institute and St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA. Doug holds a B.A. in Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College and a BSN from Old Dominion University and is a certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor.
