Protect Civil Service – No Kings
The Trump Administration finalized rules to implement a plan that strips more than 50,000 federal employees of critical competitive service protections that ensure firings are based on merit, rather than political affiliation. This action jeopardizes the civil service that has protected our nation for decades. NARFE opposed the proposed rule, submitted comments arguing against it, and challenged the policy via a lawsuit. Region 08 NARFE urges citizens across these states to defend the Constitution for which we serve(d). Join as we honor American principles to protect democracy, practice non-partisanship, and protest peaceably.

1099-R Available From OPM
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) web address allows members to request their 1099-R tax form for 2025. As retirees of the Federal Government, we report annually the income received from our annuity checks. 2026 marks the first year that OPM will not automatically mail 1099’s to annuitants, but forms are available via email or mail.
