Updated Bylaws Now Available
An updated version of the NARFE Bylaws has been made available for members. It can be downloaded and will serve until the upcoming FEDcon26 conference. Why the wait? At the conference in Indianapolis IN from August 23-25, 2026, members will have an opportunity to debate the proposed bylaws that will be published in FEDHub June 1 (Election Timeline). The 2026 NARFE National Election will be held after the conference. Once voted, the Bylaws 2026 will be published.

1099-R Available From OPM
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) web address allows members to request their 1099-R tax form for 2025. As retirees of the Federal Government, we report annually the income received from our annuity checks. 2026 marks the first year that OPM will not automatically mail 1099’s to annuitants, but forms are available via email or mail.
