About Us

NARFE Chapter 1596 is located in Sacramento, California, which is the California State Capitol.  We were Chartered in 1978. On May 15, 2026, during our regular meeting, we will celebrate 48-years as an active Chapter.  We help provide resources and expertise to federal employees and annuitants. Elections of Officers are held in November of even years and Chapter Officers take their elected position on January 1st of the following year. A list of Chapter Officers can be found here:
