Jeffrey G. Anliker

A NARFE member for more than 20 years, Jeffrey G. Anliker has extensive experience at the Chapter, Federation and National levels.  At the Chapter (Northampton, MA) level, he served as Treasurer/Assistant Treasurer for 13 years, the acting President for 6 years and the PAC coordinator for 6 years.  For the Massachusetts Federation, he served as the VP of Advocacy/2nd VP and National Legislative contact for 5 years. In addition, he was a Congressional District Leader (CDL), Senatorial Leader (SL) and Chair and Coordinator of the MA CDL/SL program.  His experience at the National level included: Chair of  the 2021-22 Ballot Oversight Committee; Member of the 2022 Advocacy Committee which developed NARFE’S Advocacy Positions for 2023-24; and Member of the 2018 Advocacy Advisory Committee which concentrated on the concept of grassroots advocacy and development of the “NARFE Federation Legislative Chair, Congressional District Leader and Senatorial Leader Guide” published in 2019.

He worked for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2007. His work assignments involved a multitude of activities in several states and Washington DC where he served as technical specialist in a multiyear detail to the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). In that capacity he developed and recommended agricultural, natural resource, and environmental policy for state departments of agriculture, USDA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Congress as it related to resource management planning with farmers and ranchers in local watershed areas.  In addition, he served as the NRCS Deputy Director for the Office of Public Affairs for 2 years; Staff Member of the NRCS Office of Congressional Relations; and a special assignment to Vice President Gore’s National Performance Review (NPR).

In the nonprofit arena, he worked part-time as the Executive Director: 1. for the Federal Executive Association of Western Massachusetts (4 years) and 2. Southern New England Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society (6 years).

An entrepreneur, he is/was the Founder, President, and CEO for Anliker Communications (2005-present) which provides management, communication, and marketing services; Anliker Financial Services LLC (2007-17) providing accounting and tax preparation services for individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations with clients in more than 10 states; and Anliker Properties LLC (2011-19) to buy, improve, rent and sell properties.

Anliker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 1970.
