You are the first impression.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cover the table<\/strong> \u2013 A simple tablecloth can take your table from amateur to professional.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Avoid creating posters from cut-and-pasted materials<\/strong>.\u00a0 Use the resources provided by NARFE.\u00a0 You can find these under <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.narfe.org\/officer-resources\/membership-officer-resources\/narfe-membership-recruitment-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NARFE Membership Recruitment Resources<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not clutter the table<\/strong>\u00a0with extras or personal items. If you have giveaways, find a clear glass bowl or place a group neatly on the table, replenishing as you go. Give each item you are displaying some room to be noticed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>When Displaying Materials \u2013 Less Is More<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remember that most of your prospects will be learning about NARFE for the first time. Too many printed materials will overwhelm. You will want to focus their attention on the most relevant benefits the Association offers. The fewer materials a prospect is given, the more likely they are to read it. A good recruiting\/prospecting table includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current issues of\u00a0<em>NARFE Magazine<\/em><\/li>\n<li>F-135s (brochure with membership application and return
