Through his work with the Alzheimer\u2019s Association, he helps raise awareness, support caregivers and families affected by dementia, and promote community engagement in programs and fundraising efforts such as the Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s. His commitment reflects a deep passion for supporting those impacted by Alzheimer\u2019s and advancing the search for treatments and a cure.<\/p>\n<p>David discusses his work as an Alzheimer\u2019s awareness advocate, inspired by his father, who suffered from the disease, and how his life changed when he received his own diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>David is a former\u00a0<strong><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wtvr.com\/on-air\/virginia-this-morning\/meet-dave-stephens-guinness-world-record-holder\">Guinness World Record holder<\/a> <\/strong>for continuous battling ropes; his record was bested by a Canadian man in 2024.
