She was at the American Horticultural Society as Associate Director of Membership and Member Programs, where she grew membership to 22,000 avid gardeners and oversaw programs until starting with NARFE in April 2023. She and her husband, Matt, live with their 8-year-old daughter, Elena, and their dog, Teddy, in Alexandria, VA.
