Please encourage your federation and chapter leaders to make calls and follow up with all of these new members who will be renewing soon. Calling and welcoming new members, and calling members to find out whether they plan to renew, are all helpful. I know Washington state is doing a great job of this, kudos WA!<\/p>\n
Right now, if you can help folks get in touch with members who expired in October and November, there are many of them due to heavy open season recruiting, and we will be dropping the people who expired in October at the beginning of February. Anything you can do to assist in outreach efforts to these individuals will reduce the number of members who are dropped. Chapter 0471 in New York does a fantastic job of outreach to members up for renewal, kudos, NY!<\/p>\n
Lastly, we recently held a federation president\u2019s meeting to discuss marketing strategies, during which we encouraged a new recruitment effort: a Telethon\/Emailathon. I hope you will consider participating in your federation\u2019s outreach activities if they involve contacting your prospects and\/or lapsed members. Please let me know which states participate. Colorado has already sent out a personal message to prospects, thank you CO! The goal is to complete this outreach effort by March 15.<\/p>\n
