Federal Employees Education and Assistance Fund

The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) mission is to empower federal and postal employees and their families to achieve their educational, financial, and career goals as they serve the American people. FEEA offers disaster relief grants to eligible federal employees when these disasters strike. FEEA has given over 14,000 grants since 1986, for wildfires, hurricanes, and other natural disasters, as well as for groceries, fuel, and diapers during the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

The NARFE-FEEA Fund Scholarship Awards Program applicants must be seniors in high school; children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of NARFE members to be eligible. FEEA’s 2026 Scholarship Application is now open! The deadline to submit your application is March 12, 2026 at 3:00pm EDT.
