SS Fairness Act – Updates from NARFE

NARFE and affiliated organization were successful in passing HR 82 to repeal the misnamed “Windfall Elimination Provision” and Government Pension Offset, known together by the acronyms WEP/GPO.  Now we await word from the Social Security Office about the implementation of the backpay and adjustment of benefits due federal retirees.
