Annuitants who have provided an email address will receive their 1099-R forms electronically, unless they opt to receive them by mail through their OPM online account. Individuals without internet or computer access should contact OPM\u2019s Retirement Services to request a mailed copy of their 1099-R forms. Annuitants can change their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/support\/retirement\/how-to\/get-your-1099-r-tax-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>delivery preference<\/strong><\/a> by visiting their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesonline.opm.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Retirement Services Online Account<\/a><\/strong> or by calling the Retirement Services hotline at <strong>1-888-767-6738<\/strong> to request a mailed copy.<\/p>\n<p>Forms 1099R forms will be mailed out to people who do not have an email address with OPM.org.<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways to obtain your 1099R via OPM.gov<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesonline.opm.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Services.online.opm.gov<\/a><\/strong> on your computer:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>At the top of the page select <a href=\"https:\/\/www.servicesonline.opm.gov\/1099-request\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>1099-R request<\/strong><\/a> or use this link\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You will need the following information to complete the request<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Claim Number<\/strong> (On the card you received when you retired).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your Zip Code <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Email address<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.
