It has information and a couple of links to SSA included.<\/p>\n<p>Social Security Administration (SSA) has created a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/benefits\/retirement\/social-security-fairness-act.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>special page<\/strong><\/a> on their website for additional information as it becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>***********************************<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>NARFE President William Shackelford statement from the NARFE Newsline:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe witnessed history tonight! We watched anxiously as the U.S. House of Representatives voted on the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Social Security Fairness Act, H.R. 82,<\/span> and, to our delight, saw a supermajority vote of 327-25 <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">passage in favor of sending it to the Senate,<\/span> where we urge Majority Leader Schumer to bring the bill to the floor for an up-or-down vote!<\/p>\n<p>In NARFE\u2019s entire history, we have not made it this far in our concerted effort to repeal the harmful Windfall Elimination Provision and Government Pension Offset. We wholeheartedly applaud the representatives who have supported this bill.
