Federal Employees Education and Assistance Fund
The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) offers disaster relief grants to eligible federal employees when these disasters strike. FEEA has given over 14,000 grants since 1986, for wildfires, hurricanes, and other natural disasters, as well as for groceries, fuel, and diapers during the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. FEEA stands ready to assist active and retired NARFE.
The NARFE-FEEA Fund Scholarship Awards Program provides merit-based scholarships to federal public servants, their spouses, children, and grandchildren. On Nov. 25, NARFE announced our ten 2025 FEEA Fund Scholarship Award winners. Congratulations to Reagan Higgins of Ohio, representing Region 04, and sponsor, Christopher Brennan.
Applications for the 2026 program closed on March 12. Members planning ahead for 2027 can use the 2026 FEEA Application Instructions and/or the short scholarship webinar as a reference.
