FEDcon26 Registration and Schedule

SAVE THE DATE!! Our biennial Training Conference is August 23 to 25 at the Hyatt Regency, One South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis IN. The FEDcon26 website has the details. Some points to help you in planning:

• The Hyatt Regency should not be confused with the Hyatt House, which is only a few blocks away.
• Early Bird registration is $225 for members, $300 for non-members until May 22. It’s $250/$300 May 23 to August 7 and $300 afterwards.
• Spouses must  pay the registration fee as it covers two lunches and coffee breaks. Even at these prices, NARFE does not break even.
• For those arriving early Sunday, August 23, the Registration Desk is open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and the exhibit hall 1:00 to 7:00 pm.
• The Annual Business Meeting is 1:30 to 3:30 pm, August 23, and is open to all members.
• The conference starts Sunday evening, August 23, with a Welcome Reception from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.
• An optional offsite evening event on Monday, August 24, is still to be determined (TBD).
• The conference ends with a Closing Reception on Tuesday, August 25, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. An optional evening event is TBD*.

*Another federation heard one evening event may be a baseball game. The AAA Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates) play the Columbus Clippers (Cleveland Guardians affiliate) August.25. That’s Tuesday Dollar Menu night. It’s a 12-miniutes walk to Victory Field from the Hyatt.
