Call for Proposals for Changes to NARFE Advocacy Positions

NARFE publishes a list of Advocacy Positions for each session of the United States Congress. The current list for the 119th Session of Congress 2025-2026 may be found at: Advocacy-Positions-2025-26-sts.pdf. This list guides NARFE’s leadership and staff regarding whether to support a position—or not–when actions are taken by Congress or the administration.

Currently NARFE is calling for members, Chapters and Federations to review the current list of positions and propose changes to incorporate in an updated list of advocacy positions for the upcoming 120th Session of Congress 2027-2028. Proposals for change are due to NARFE Headquarters by June 1.
