Regional Vice President,
Evelyn Kirby of Chester, MD, was re-elected to a two-year term on NARFE’s National Executive Board at the Association’s 33rd Biennial National Convention in Orlando, FL, August 24-28, 2014. Kirby represents NARFE Region II, which includes Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
She has extensive NARFE experience, including serving as Region II vice president for the past two years and as Maryland Federation first vice president − legislation; president, secretary and second vice president − membership for NARFE Chapter 1372.
Kirby’s federal government experience included working as a human resources specialist, manager and executive in several agencies located in Washington, DC, including the Securities and Exchange Commission; the former U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare; and the Social Security Administration, among others. Kirby holds a bachelor’s degree in English and business administration from the University of Maryland.
