Regional Vice President,
Jim Crawford of Bridgewater, NH, was elected to a two-year term on NARFE’s National Executive Board at the Association’s 33rd Biennial National Convention in Orlando, FL, August 24-28, 2014. He succeeded Arthur Pike. Crawford represents NARFE Region I, which includes New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York.
Crawford, who is a native of Wrentham, MA, has extensive NARFE experience. He was the membership chair of NARFE’s New Hampshire Federation as well as its past president and vice president. He has also served in positions with NARFE’s Lakes Region and Mt. Washington Valley Chapter, including several tenures as chapter president.
For 34 years, Crawford worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, retiring in 2002 as deputy chief of the Construction and Operations Division.He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
