In 2025, Postal Service employees and retirees will receive health insurance coverage via the new Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) program. This program will be under the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) umbrella, providing similar plans, with requirements to integrate prescription drug coverage with Medicare. Starting April 1, postal annuitants who are not enrolled in Medicare Part B will also have a new opportunity to enroll without a late penalty. For these individuals, it’s particularly important to understand how Medicare coordinates with PSHB coverage.
To help you understand your options, NARFE Federal Benefits Expert Tammy Flanigan will walk you through how Medicare interacts with FEHB, and soon the new Postal Service Health Benefits program, by highlighting:

  • What you can do to prepare for this transition
  • Key dates to know
  • Medicare enrollment requirements for PSHB Medicare Advantage plans
  • Dates for the PSHB special enrollment period for Medicare Part B
  • How Medicare A and B can benefit a federal retiree who is enrolled in PSHB
  • How “original Medicare” is different from Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage)
  • And much more!

A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Please join us Thursday, April 4, at 2 p.m. ET, as Tammy Flanagan provides guidance on the new Postal Service Health Benefits program and how you can benefit from it. Register Today!
