August is Grassroots Advocacy Month

Each August, members mobilize to engage in NARFE’s Grassroots Advocacy Month campaign. The campaign is held in conjunction with the August congressional recess when members of Congress leave their Capitol Hill offices and travel back to their district and state to engage with constituents. Member engagement during the August recess helps continue discussion of NARFE issues, keeping them fresh on lawmakers’ minds while they interact with other constituents who are also competing for their attention.
