About half were digital and processed in just over a month. The remaining were paper-based and processed in a bit over 3 months.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone\u2019s work experience and retirement expectations are unique. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.govexec.com\/pay-benefits\/2026\/04\/federal-retirement-benefit-correct\/412739\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GovExec.com<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has an article providing links to many forms, booklets and statistics as a good basis for <strong><span style=\"color: #993300\"><em>your own research<\/em><\/span><\/strong> \u2013 don\u2019t rely solely on the helpful advice of friends and co-workers.
