Misplaced Work History

QUESTION: I left the federal government and have misplaced all of my work history. I am wondering how I can obtain my work history prior to retirement.

ANSWERYour federal employment history as shown on your Individual Retirement Record card would be on file with the Office of Personnel Management, Retirement Operations Center, P.O. Box 45, Boyers, PA 16017. You should write to OPM with your request giving your full name, date of birth, Social Security number. For additional personnel files, you can contact the National Personnel Records Center, Civilian Personnel Records.
