Voting is being conducted securely by Election Services Corp. (ESC). Anyone who was a member\u00a0<strong>in good standing as of December 1, 2025<\/strong>, is eligible to vote.<\/p>\n<p>The Colorado Federation proposed the Bylaws amendment and the NEB approved it. Two-thirds of the members submitting a ballot must vote yes for the Bylaws to be changed to extend the term limits from two years to three years for all NEB members.<\/p>\n<p>NARFE members can visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.narfe.org\/2026-referendum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>2026 Referendum<\/strong><\/a> page on the National website to read the Report of the Bylaws Committee, details\u00a0 for the referendum and a sample ballot. NARFE also opened a community on FEDHub to facilitate discussion amongst members about the referendum \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/fedhub.narfe.org\/discussion\/bylaw-amendment-proposal-for-2026-referendum?ReturnUrl=%2fcommunities%2fcommunity-home%2fdigestviewer%3fcommunitykey%3def954e44-cd84-41dc-8d75-019b9a7665cd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bylaw Amendment Proposal for 2026 Referendum<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Members who don\u2019t have an email account or hadn\u2019t listed an email address with National should have gotten a postcard in the mail with instructions on how to vote.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an issue finding the email message from ESC for the referendum ballot, please try these:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check your email Inbox closely for a message from \u201cElection Services Co. for NARFE.\u201d\n<ul>\n<li>Subject: NARFE Special Referendum\u00a0Voting Open<\/li>\n<li>From: <strong>narfehelp@electionservicescorp.com<\/strong>\u00a0 or\u00a0 <strong>narfehelp@mg.electionservicescorp.com<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Check your Bulk or Spam folders. Depending on your email service provider, the message from ESC may have been marked as \u201cSpam\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ESC mailed requested paper ballots by January 30, 2026.
