For FEHB and PSPB and 11:59 pm for the location of your electronic enrollment system.<\/p>\n<p>You can use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/plan-information\/compare-plans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Healthcare Compare 2026 Plans<\/strong><\/a> without signing into OPM websites.<\/p>\n<p>On OPM, federal employees, annuitants (retirees), survivor annuitants and eligible family members can see details about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program<\/strong><\/a>, read about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/plan-information\/plan-types\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Plan Types<\/strong><\/a>, find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/plan-information\/plans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>2026 plan brochures<\/strong><\/a> for regional and nationwide plans in their state and see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/plan-information\/premiums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>2026 Premiums<\/strong><\/a> rate charts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>US Postal Service<\/strong> employees, annuitants (retirees), and eligible family members can get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/pshb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>General Information<\/strong><\/a> about the <strong>Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program<\/strong>, see the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/pshb\/premiums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2026 Premiums<\/a><\/strong> for regional and nationwide plans, and read individual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/pshb\/brochures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>plan brochures<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>OPM has a main page for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/open-season\/tribal-employees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tribal employees<\/strong><\/a> with links and Frequently Asked Questions. There\u2019s also a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/tribal-employers\/health-insurance\/quickguide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Quick Guide to FEHB for Tribal Employees<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another federal benefit is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/temporary-continuation-of-coverage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Temporary Continuation of Coverage (TCC)<\/strong><\/a> for covered children reaching age 26 and thus losing family member eligibility for healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>OPM also offers the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/dental-vision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP)<\/strong><\/a>. Employees MUST be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/eligibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>eligible<\/strong><\/a> for FEHB to enroll in FEDVIP; they do NOT have to enroll in FEHB. Annuitants do NOT have to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/eligibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>eligible<\/strong><\/a> for FEHB to enroll in FEDVIP. Other resources include: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/dental-vision\/plan-information\/plan-premiums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Plan Premiums<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/flyers\/vision-insurance-overview.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vision Insurance Overview<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/dental-vision\/plan-information\/plans\/dental\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dental Overview<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/dental-vision\/enrollment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Enrollment<\/strong><\/a>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benefeds.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>BENEFEDS<\/strong><\/a> site is used to enroll in FEDVIP.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/flyers\/flexible-spending-account-overview.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)<\/strong><\/a> are available to FEHB-eligible employees (<em>PSHB does not participate in FSAFEDS.<\/em>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/flexible-spending-accounts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS)<\/strong><\/a>, employees can save funds, before taxes, for expenses not covered by health insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Employees can use a <strong>Dependent Care FSA <\/strong>to save for day care for children under 13 or non-medical care for a dependent adult incapable of self-care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2026 Open Season runs November 10 \u2013 December 8, 2025 for health benefits programs.
