{"id":2139,"date":"2025-10-10T00:10:02","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T05:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.narfe.org\/il\/?p=2139"},"modified":"2025-10-10T01:39:18","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T06:39:18","slug":"opm-releases-2026-fehb-pshb-premiums","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.narfe.org\/il\/2025\/10\/10\/opm-releases-2026-fehb-pshb-premiums\/","title":{"rendered":"OPM Releases 2026 FEHB\/PSHB Premiums"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 9, 2025, OPM posted the <strong>2026 Premium Rate Charts<\/strong> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/healthcare\/plan-information\/premiums\/#url=Premiums\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Federal Employees Health Benefits<\/strong><\/a> (FEHB) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/healthcare-insurance\/pshb\/premiums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Postal Service Health Benefits<\/strong><\/a> (PSHB) programs on its website. Rates have increased an average of 12.3%, the second consecutive year of double-digit increases for both employees and retirees.<\/p>\n<p>A notice on that page says some Self Plus One rates may be higher than the Self and Family one. Members that previously enrolled in a Self Plus One option should pay close attention to both premiums when choosing their plan for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: OPM has not yet posted 2026 plan information, such as brochures and plan comparison tool, on their website.
