Vice President Biden Outlines Positions on Federal Pay and Benefits in NARFE Magazine Exclusive

September 24, 2020

Alexandria, Va. – Former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden’s stances on key issues affecting the federal community will be featured in the October issue of NARFE Magazine.

NARFE sent presidential candidate questionnaires to the nominees of both major political parties—President Donald J. Trump, Republican Party, and Biden—requesting they answer identical questions about federal compensation, health care, upholding promises to retirees, Social Security fairness, modernizing the government and reforming the U.S. Postal Service.

The Trump campaign provided the following response to NARFE’s request for information: “The campaign is not participating in questionnaires this cycle.”

The questions and Biden’s unedited responses appear here.

The questionnaire was designed to better inform NARFE members in advance of Election Day about issues affecting their compensation, benefits, careers and well-being. Neither NARFE, nor its political action committee, endorses presidential candidates or contributes to presidential campaigns.

Award-winning NARFE Magazine is the premier source of information and guidance on critical legislation and benefit issues for NARFE members.
