Chapter meetings:<\/strong><\/p>\n

New place, New date, New time. Will vary until we find a new place that meets our needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chapter 1777 have monthly business meetings. Guest speakers are scheduled a month in advance, and advertised on the Chapter website, Facebook<\/strong><\/a>, and a press release with the local newspapers.<\/p>\n

All chapter meetings are open to ALL federal employees\/and retirees, Non members are invited as guests.<\/p>\n

November Meeting- November 11, 2025 @ 10:30AM. Location will be the Georgetown Optimist Club 8260 IN-64 Georgetown, In 47122.\u00a0 \u00a0NARFE Chapter 1777 will provide a light brunch followed by a representative from Blue Cross Blue Shield & a representative for Aetna Insurance, Mail Handlers, & Letter Carriers. PLEASE invite other federal workers, retirees, & spouses to join you. We hope & expect to recruit new NARFE members at this meeting.\u00a0 Also you are invited to attend the Jeffersonville Chapter of NARFE on November 12, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Clarksville Public Library 1312 Eastern Blvd Clarksville, IN 47129 with the representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Mail Handlers, & Letter Carriers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

October Meeting- October 22, 2025 @ 11:30AM Mark\u2019s Feed Store 3827 Charlestown Road New Albany, IN 47150\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Sharlene Richie, Community Outreach Manager for Hosparus Health , will present a progam to provide members of NARFE information on pallative care for loved ones.\u00a0 Pallative care is appropriate at any age and for any stage of serious illness. It can be provided along with current treatments designed to cure or support illness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

September meeting was cancelled due to INFED conference in Indianapolis, IN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

August Meeting- August 27, 2025 @ 11:30 Marks Feed Store 3827 Charlestown Road New Albany, Indiana 47150.\u00a0 Alexandria Abasi, Account Executive Federal Health Benefits for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Paige Brown, Wellness Nurse Consultant, for Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield will present a program on Summer Nutrition. Reservations are not required.<\/strong><\/p>\n
