Chapter 1777 has an Alzheimer’s booth yearly during the Georgetown Indiana Labor Day Weekend Community Festival.

Chapter 1777 participates in bi-yearly (election year) Meet & Greet Chili Dinner to meet local candidates running for office.

An in person meeting is scheduled yearly to inform ALL LOCAL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES/RETIREES about Open Season information.

November, 2024 with the major changes involving the New Postal Service Plan insurance, there are 3 meetings scheduled in New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Georgetown Indiana at different times to accommodate as many federal people as possible.

Chapter 1777 members have continued lobbying to obtain tax equality for Civil Service retirees & spouses with the Indiana General Assembly. This year the Indiana Federation has decided to sponsor an event at the Indiana State Capital to gain the State Legislators attention again. Date to be decided.
